I've had some customers ask about popup blockers for there systems, but as i use Aol 8.0 and it has said function intergrated i dont know of any to recommend as i've never used any apart from the Aol one.
Just wondering if anyone here uses one or can racommend one that would do the job of stopping popups.

i use the google toolbar beta 2, havent had a pop up yet. plus is it loaded with other great features

I use this one it's free and I am pretty happy with it.
I second delmer_1's recommendation for the google bar.I have been using it now for like 6 months and have yet to see a pop up. I do not know of the one Crazy man speaks of. I have not tried it.
Try The Proxomitron. It's a local proxy and will work with any browser that is installed.

Google Toolbar just went to the "official" 2.0 version, out of beta.
Google toolbar works great. There are 3 other alternatives.
1. Use the freeware Opera internet browser. It has a checkbox for enabling, disabling popup windows. www.opera.com
2. Use admuncher. Just be sure to install/reinstall it once every 60 days. www.admuncher.com
3. Disable javascript.
Lately I've been browsing with My IE 2 which blocks popups by default, but I otherwise use Popup Stopper which you just run when you want to block 'em and off when you don't. No fuss no muss and there's a free version.
I'm running Netscape 7.1 I prefer it to Mozzilla bacause of the simple thing of a spell checker in the news reader. Now I know that Mozzilla has a popup blocker built in, but Netscape dosen't, or if it has I can't find it. I wouldn't mind using the Google bar but it only works with IE. I would prefer not to yet another program in my task bar... So eather I need a spell checker for Mozzilla or a popup blocker for Netscape 7.1...

Got it sorted... Last weekend I did a clean install of Win2K. I must have been in a hurry when it came arround to setting up Netscape...
