Getting a OE error 016F-00005ED2 during boot up. Got any fix on this.
Not sure if this applies to your situation or not, but you might check ot Fatal Exception OE It says it applies to Win95 but might apply to you also.

As you probably know, OE usually refers to Outlook Express. Is this what you use to check your email? If so, OE comes with Internet Explorer. Once you upgrade IE, OE will also be upgraded...if you select it from the Default listing. BTW, which version of IE and OE are you running? http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp
You might also try running IE Repair. It just might solve your problems.

Twigs, the numbers are not always terribly helpful, but the rest of the message is. Fatal exceptions usually mention a particular file - can we have the whole message please.
Don you are now confus-ed :D .... its not 'O' but '0' (zero) ... 0E is a hex value (base 16) - it means some kind of input/output error generally ;)Quote:

Well my friends it differently looks like a O on my screen. The message was gerenic and said nothing about Fatal Exception. Wish I could remember the exact error message. But it didn't say much of anything. I believe I'm running Outlook Express 6.0 But I'm not at my computer at this time to tell you. I know I upgraded it maybe 6-8 months ago.Quote:
