Just be sure they're real, that they just don't take your money and run....
I'm not saying it is, :p but scam artists are known to do this...
If you are serious about contributing, the first thing I'd suggest you'd do is contact your state's attorney general's office and ask them if this is legit. :eek2:
Last year, NBC covered a story about a sailor this guy arranged tickets for. I'd say its a very good chance it is legit.Quote:

5) IF a particular agency is running a scam, chances are some else has heard about it. Just check it out on the WWW.
Orangeman the Oracle.... :butt:
Hey man, F-Trip. He is just picking a fight. You are absolutely right and I myself appreciate the advice. Theses kinds of scams go on all of the time. They start by taking advantage of someone’s good will, knowing that most won’t take the time to learn the usage of their money, because most typically feel ungenerous if they were to scrutinize…It’s a terrible world we live in, and it takes effort now to be truly generous, despite popular belief!Quote:

True enough, but more often they get the ones who are greedy.
The story jaeger refers to was broadcast local here in SWFlorida since it was a Naples guy.
I am sure Jaeger himself would have checked this b4 posting, and it was a kind thing to do, especially right after Veteran's Day.
Point being: lets fight!!https://forums.windrivers.com/

Ok, so by your standards, if it's posted on the Internet, by a "trusted" name, I should rest assured that he did all of the research required to ensure this isn't a scam...Naa, I'd rather just punch your lights out...https://forums.windrivers.com/Quote:

There are charities that have been fleeced, money given to fake entities bearing the same name. It happens every day…
The only charity I give money to is getting young, hot chicks drunk so that I can have them screaming my name in exstacy as I.........
No, not at all, by ANY means.Quote:

The charities being fleeced: yes they do get the kind hearted...every day, too.
Sad world, indeed.
