"Master/Slave" hard drive references banned in LA County

Got to be one of the dumbest things I've read about recently. Oh, and in case you might think it's an urban legend, the Slashdot posting links back to Snopes.com...

The correct use is 'master disk' & 'slave disk' anyway !

I dunno about you but I ain't heard of a civil rights movement for hard disks yet ...

I can't wait until whichever 'Mr Richard Head' came up with that one comes accross the term 'floppy' ... no doubt we'll see some interesting mails on penile dysfunction ! :grin:

Some suggestions are needed for new Terminology since this whole primary on the primary thing coud get confus-ed-ing.
