Send email *AS*

I feel like a dork for not knowing this one.

My wife and I share Outlook 2000 on the same computer. We have two seperate email addresses. We'll go with I am "A" and she is "B". What is a quick and easy way for me to send emails out as "A" and for her to send them out as "B"?

As it stands right now, "A" and "B" get interchanged easily depending on if you're typing a NEW e-mail or replying to someone who has *sent* the e-mail to "A" or whatever such that no one ever knows *WHO* actually sent the email...me or my wife?

Bleh. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I know Outlook express will allow you to show the From field in the composed email, from there you can drop down and select any address you have setup in the accounts. However, I don't think Outlook has this feature. You have to login to each profile differently, as the first email in even a long list of accounts is always the default in that profile...

Odd, that the freebee has one better feature then the pay version...unless I am missing something, I don’t think you can do what you are asking…

I switched to Outlook Express and that's exactly the quick and easy tool I needed. Thanks Ya Know! While the topic is hot and I'm giving new software a try, does anyone have any suggestions on some free email clients that are really nifty? Eudora? Pegasus? Any thoughts? Thanks!

Outlook XP has the word "Account" on the toolbar with a drop down and will let you send it from which ever account you choose.
