Serial ATA and PSU Question

Hello I am putting together a new computer and have a quick question:

I am using a 80GB Maxtor Serial ATA/150 hard drive and my motherboard does support it. But what about the power supply? Do I have to get a special power supply that supports Serial ATA drives? Can I just get an adapter?

What about the actual power drain/consumption of SATA drives?

Anyone have data on that?

Looks like it is comparable to LVD SCSI.....

improve silicon design, and lower voltages which alleviate current design requirements in Parallel ATA.

Well it didn't say exactly but I got the vide that it was the same. The versions for highend equipment (servers,etc) had an additional 3.3V option but for consumer discs that would not be an option/needed.
