I don't remember does nt workstation 4.0 support Usb ports?
The short answer is NO.
There are some devices out there that had support for NT, but they were very specific to the device, and very rare.
So again, the short answer is NO.
:p
Nope
not even with a service pack huh? What about an xp upgrade? Is Nt eligible for an XP pro upgrade? reading the xp home upgrade doesn't sound like it, is that correct?
Just in case anyone is interested I did find this...

Seems those have come down in price. A few years ago they were like 60 or 70 dollars. Replacing the operating system seemed more appropriate.Quote:

Yeah I know but if you have one of those die hard companies that just doesn't want to give up their old os and still need usb..... In this case the customer has a projector for power point apps and wants to use the wireless mouse that comes with it but it's reciever is usb.... He has to talk to corporate before he can do anything so we just gave him his options...
Good call! A solution is a solution...
Out of curiosity, wouldn't a USB to PS2 or USB to serial adapter work in this situation? You could try to get the reciever to work that way for a lot less $.Quote:

One more reason we didn't do anything other than look at it.. He already had an adaptor just not with him.... he was going to try that.... course he doesn't care much either way as long as it works, after all the company will be paying for anything he needs done!!
