And this is new? Howard Stern aside, the nice little PC Nazis have wanted to eliminate free speech for a long time.
Exactly. It was just a matter of time until they finally dethroned the King of all Media. And I bet you Howard won't do anything about it. He's getting older and tired and is probably glad to be done with radio now. But still the fact remains that he had the plug pulled because someone doesn't agree with his form of humor. Man this is becoming a sad place to live.

Howard has been overly contraversial in his shows and deserves to be reined in hes not the first and wont be the last.

Steins NOT Banned from ALL stations,, His Show IS still on here In Chicago as well as 40 other cities/stations.
One media company buckles under to preasure,,, Another Picks up the show,,, NO Big Deal,, business as usual.
Freedom of speech Has Been Gone For MANY MANY Years,Perhaps if fewer people had their heads in the sand,They might have noticed.

I can't stand his radio show. He is ok watch on TV, but the radio portion of it is so boring I can't stand it.

Although I never really liked his show, I'm really weary about what is going on. What? Are we supposed to only have June Cleaver radio now?
I see the lawsuits on the horizon, but unfortunatly the studio and many radio companies are privately owned along with their specific broadcast frequencies, so they can call the shots.
How was his Freedom of Speech infringed? He has a radio show. SOME of the people who broadcast that show felt he broke THEIR rules, and THEY pulled him off the air? Sounds more like disciplining an employee to me.
Exactly, it is a company that doesn't want him anymore, big whoop, this ain't the government saying this, and it ain't the end of the world. And for the record, Stern sucks, I hated when they had him in Dallas, and am glad he isn't in Houston.
