Taking control of an Apple

Hey all,

TIA. We are purchasing a macitosh to make sure our web products work on Macs. The problem is the 2 app designers are in 2 offices and we want only one Mac. Is there any type of pcanywhere for Mac or any type of built in way to take remote control of them? I know there is remote desktop for mac but that is an App that is sold in 10 license lots which is more than I want to spend plus the person taking control has to be doing it from a Mac which is no good for us. Anyone know of anything?

VNC is great...and free....but it is slow. never used it with a mac, but i know that there it gets pretty laggy on the Pcs here at work. not unbearable for doing quick fixes, but as a regular occurance, it could be too laggy
but then again, it is free, so there is no harm in trying it out
