Astronauts tend to be intelligent and in good physical condition. While I suppose it's logical to assume that the caveman would have raw physical power on his side, I think brains would win out over brawn.

Hmm...well if we are a talkin' early homo sapiens I'd go for the Astronaut unless it was a Relunctant Astronaut.
Now a Cro-Magnon I would take the dude with the one eye brow (my brother in law excluded).
I would rate the Astronaut vs a Neanderthal as a toss up with the advantage going to the home team.
