Guess "Canada's finest" had to knuckle under to the P. C. crowd.....
Will Canada allow the victim's family to sue the ever living hell out of the corrections dept for this stupid policy when the first guard gets stabbed?
Please tell me that article is a joke. Please. Pretty please.Quote:

I am so glad to say that part of me is not Canadian at times like these. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif
You think thats bad? The guy running the country right now was not elected!
So, what you are telling me is that Canada hasn't got it much better as far as the government's concerned, eh?
Canada's corrections department will not be letting guards at its highest security prisons wear stab-proof vests because, spokesman Tim Krause says, "If you have that kind of presence symbolized by [a stab-proof vest], you're sending a signal to the prisoner that you consider him to be a dangerous person."
Isn't that why they're in MAXIMUM SECURITY? I think Tim Krause should spend some time working in a maximum security prison.
I think its time we had a regeim change.
Tell Dubya we WMD's. That should do the trick.
Do you mean Weapons of Mass Distraction?Quote:

the problem in canada right now is that our judicial system is far too soft, we gott too many hippies and tree huggers left up here. And our government is messed up, they all are, but as messed up as the states? that's a bit of a leap.
This really isn't a joke?
