Network / Norton anti virus
I am having problems with my LAN as of monday last. Word and Excell are taking forever to load up on all machines when connected to the LAN but when each individual machine is disconnected it runs as normal. Also when we turn Norton anti virus off word and excell open as normal when connected to the LAN. We are also running a broadband connection over the network and since monday this has gone really slow and wont even open some pages like this one for example i had to dial up using the 56k connetion to post this message. The only excerise all machines have in common is the Norton live update done last friday. Any one have any ideas. I can fix word and excell by turning off NAV but this doesn't solve the web browsing issues
