Put the old one back in and see if everything works alright, ok? Then you'll know if it's the new card. But geesh: a video card causing spelling errors? I don't think so....
On startup, even "American Megatrends" gets spelled wrong. Yes the old card works OK still. Could it be a driver problem?Quote:

I have seen this in other Nvid cards, corrupted display showing strange ascii characters in a 8x8 size block. If you manage to get to a windows desktop, openning and closing stuff causes random characters to be displayed on screen.
Most of these cards were extremely hot when pulled from the system.
Take it back and get it replaced.
Will Tigerdirect give a refund/exchange? Have heard nasty things about Tigerdirect.Quote:
