Would've been even better if the Sharks had gone and won. But thats cool. Go TB!! And go Andreychek!! Finally, he waited a long time. That was a great game. :D
So that means the new season starts in 2 weeks?
No 1 week
Yeah! A player of Dave's stature deserves one, finally! I am no TB fan, but am and always will be an Andreychuk fan from his days with the Leafs.Quote:

Congratulations to the Lightning!
A most excellent Stanley Cup series! Great goalkeeping! :thumbs2:
I was pulling for the Flames, but I will not loose any sleep over it.
Will there be a next season? Isn't there a strike looming? The finals were rated 19th on cable. No one is watching hockey. It's sad, really, I love the sport. We took an almost exclusive Canadian sport, and now a team from Florida wins the cup!!!
I hear the Jamaicans want a team!https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gifhttps://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif
There is ONE day of the year when there are no major professional sports games. Anyone know what day?Quote:

It is usually only the day after. However, it appears that this year, you are correct.Quote:

It's as if they knew they had a crap a$$ goalie who couldn't handle his job and so the more people laying on the ice, the better the defense could win the game. In fact, I would bet that the defense had more saves than Khabibulin. Maybe that's why they gave him the nickname "The Bulin Wall"... because after everyone starts falling to the ice to stop the shot, it practically looks like there's a wall stretching across the ice.
Oh well, Andreychek got his cup and now he can retire.
The thing that cracks me up is the fact that the lighting is almost a canadian team... Management, players and fans canadian.... The canadian snowbirds go down to Florida and want to watch hockey locally...
I still wanted the flames to win !!
