How many of you guys playing this game are going solo? Im at lvl 13 and seem to be stuck on 1 mission. Maybe ive developed my character wrong. Mutant Blaster....
Ive created a new character.. Captian Stupid. Natural Scrapper I think...
Any sudjestions on how to develope these 2 guys?
If you want an effective solo character, build a tank and focus on all defensive powers, keep one offensive power and keep loading up with damage enhancements. Otherwise it's damn hard to solo once you get to the teens.
I can help you complete your mission if you want Diver01 (I'm a lvl 16 science scrapper). Or if not me, then when ur playing, form a task force team so you can complete your mission. Or just find a different mission and come back to that one once you've lvled.
EB has this game for $39. I may have to break down and buy it.

I have a tech blaster (energy blast, energy melee) that works fairly well in solo, but really shines in team play. With this guy, doing enough damage isn't a problem, it's hitting the baddies that are a level or 2 higher than me.

Then put accuracy enhancers on your attacks, at 16 you should be able to get DO enhancements. My Scrapper is only 13, but doesn't have any problems, sometimes I die, but it happens

Just in case you guys don't already know, and just to forwarn you,.. the game DOES cost $15 p/month to play as it is an MMO game. It will not run as a stand-alone game on you computer. Two ways to pay the monthly fee. 1> Credit/Debit card. 2> Buy a "time-card" at whereever you purchase the game. The box looks identical to the game box. I think the time card is like $30 and gives you like 2 months of play time. Paying is not difficult to do and very hassle free, so it's just a matter of whether or not you want to fork out the money per month.
Also, it's not required, but I also advise picking up the strategy guide also. The strategy guide is not a walk-through manual, but rather gives you insight on most of the games features.
With that said,.. hope to see you guys online soon. Also, be sure to post your character name here so you can be added or add people on your "friends" list inside the game.

Compared to Vice City, how big is the play area?
Hmm. Tough to say as I still have yet to finish VC. I'd say at least comparible if not bigger. In fact yeah,.. definately bigger. You'll be stuck on this game for quite awhile. But the map system is easy to use so you won't get lost at all.Quote:
