Hey guys, a nice casual 'Tech Lounge' conversation for ya'll, what was your favourite old school game? Like, pre-95 I guess would be a good cut off. Why was it?
Mine was Flashback, on the PC and Genesis. Maddest platformer ever, coz of amazing stunts and usage of a single pistol. A thinking persons platformer you might say.
Also a poll, what was the best old school 3d-Shooter, Doom, Wolf3d or Quake (Quake not as old, but still).

Lords of Midnight - still as great a game now as it was on the Spectrum back in 84-85 :thumbs:
CastleVania, or Megaman 3, and then Konami's 6 player X-Men arcade game.

Xaxxon on the console. Had a cool almost 3d quality to it.
I liked 1943 arcade....sweeeeet
Pitfall on the Atari 2600 was interesting....one of those games that never ended. No, NEVER.

A handful of games where the sequel was better than the original...though I still think 3 was the best of the Megaman series. :)Quote:
