In virtually every measure tested, Kerry's image has eroded in recent weeks. He has lost his double-digit advantage as the candidate viewed by voters as more honest and more understanding of their problems. The president also is now seen by voters as the candidate who better reflects their values, and he has increased his advantage as better able to keep the country safe and secure. I predict that Kerry will run away from his voting record and his anti-war stance and try to become all things to all people in his speech tonight.

Here's my thoughts on all this:

1> This whole political horse has been beaten senseless. People know who they're voting for in November. It's a done deal. Now it's just a matter of doing it and seeing what the majority wants. These polls mean nothing. They are just someones way of attempting to manipulate peoples thoughts by telling them a bunch of numbers.

2> If anyone wants to know where Kerry stands on the issues, you can visit his website at http://www.johnkerry.com It's all there in plain black and white text.

3> Don't like John Kerry? Think he's boring, stiff and dull? Do you feel safer knowing that our troops are in Iraq dying everyday? Are you ok with enormous tax breaks being given to the richest 1% of our country while you get nothing? Do you feel that we should not do stem cell research? Do you want more automatic weapons and less police on the streets? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then by all means vote for Bush. If not,.. then perhaps John Kerry is your guy.

These are only a few of the hundreds of questions one should ask themselves before voting in November and before deciding that they think Kerry doesn't have a stand on any issues. Check out each candidates website from time to time, watch them speak, compare and make your decision. It's really that easy.

Always good to read past the headlines. Don't you agree, JaxSon? In fact if Bush had read past the Slam dunk on WMD and read the rest we might not be in this mess.

Guess he didn't hear about the plan to repeal the tax cut for the wealthiest 2 percent (which is 50 percent of the entire tax cut). Reverse the tax cuts for businesses outsourcing jobs. Provide tax incentives to create new jobs which will increase government revenue.
I guess he was too busy watching all the Bush attack ads.

And Mike fails to mention that Bushes plan to get our national deficit down is to.....wait he just goes on increasing it.

In fact if you look at the poll Kerry can still win over many voters but like Mike says everyone already knows Bushes plan. So now that we are getting into the real campaign maybe people will actually pick up a paper, turn on a station other than Fox and they will find out Kerry's platform.
Or you could have just watched Edwards last nite, or Kerry tonite.

Oh yeah. I wonder how many of the Nader voters say they will vote for Nader in a poll but not vote for him. Seems Kerry should get almost every one of those.

I heard on the radio today that the IRS took at look at all the tax returns,.. they added up all the gross annual wages, factored in inflation and came to the conclusion that gross wages per person have dropped for 2 years straight by 9%. The last time something like this happened was just after WWII.

In other words: We are now living in a "dumbed-down" America. And we're only getting dumber. Is voting for Kerry going to fix this? I dunno. But I CAN tell you that voting for George Bush will only make this situation worse over the next 4 years based on his record.

Once again a vicious attack site is quoted by JaxSon. He tries to decieve us by putting a picture of a semi-respected, though far right newspaper under it to make us think they are linked. They are not.
