Please help!!! my CD-RW is gone

I have an IBM Thinkpad T22 and I'm running Windows 2000. I installed a CD recording sofware by samsung and when Restarted my computer my cd drive was gone. Please help

Was it EasyCD creator? Or something else? either way this is probably the fix

It worked!! I'm doing the happy dance. Thank You sooo much, this is the computer I use @ work so I was freaking out but it's fixed now.
