For those who don't know an arc based series is one where all or many of the episodes have a goal that is being worked towards.
For example Babylon 5 was arc based. Many episode had nothing to do with the arc, but it was all about a coming war and the eventual fighting of the war.
So was Star Trek Voyager.
Even the original Battlestar Galactica.
So what's your best all time arc tv series?

Never finished watching even the first season, but the concept behind 24 is really cool
Smallville, Enterpise these days.

Major Kong I personally don't consider MASH or AlF arc based but hey its your vote.
Cleetus. Yes 24 is a season long arc based show. I confess to not seeing it but I hear good things about it.
Adelpt. I can't get Smallville where I live but Enterprise had a great season long arc last year. As to Voyager I was semi disappointed with the ending. But still a good one.
