Finally got my 1700+ to 2.4 Ghz. Soldered a 680 ohm resistor to the VDD chip and boosted the voltage from 1.58 to 1.76 volts. Allowed me to boost from 185 to 200 mhz on the frontside bus.

Very cool looking machine. However, these "water cooled" systems are quite scary imo. Maybe I don't know enough about it,.. but one thing I do know is that I wouldn't feel comfortable knowing that high volumes of water are running through rubber tubes, close to fans spinning at high rates of speed, mere inches away from my 500w/120v power supply. But thats just me. :D
Heh, I just had a leak last night. Manufacturing defect in the thread sealant on the waterblock. Water got on my vid card and on all the pci/agp slots. Dried everything off and it works fine. I was plenty pissed though.Quote:
