Panasonic Camcorder

Hi Everybody, new to this, so please be gentle.
I have a Panasonic NV-GS30B DV camcorder and am trying to conect to pc, keeps saying driver missing. CAn anybody help please.

Have you installed the software that came with the camcorder? The driver should be on the disk.

Thanks for replying,

There was no software with the camcorder when I bought it. So I have been given a connecting lead but no software, hence the need to download a driver.

Ouch. Don't see anything out there, maybe someone else knows of a good spot on the innernet for that kinda stuff. Maybe try contacting Panasonic directly? Didn't seem to have any software for your model on their website, but maybe I was looking in the wrong place.

Well, thanks very much for the effort.

Panasonic!!

What windows? What type of connection?

If it's xp and firewire this may be the problem

Is it windows that generates the error or the capture software (eg pinnacle or ulead)?
