Someone on another forum I check said that they called them and was told that they were "experiencing technical difficulties" and should be back up in the next couple of hours...too long a wait for me
If you just want to browse, you can still access it by just going to http://newegg.com . Just take out the www. You can click on a link but it'll give you the message it wasn't found. Again, just remove the www and it should work. A little annoying but at least you can still look around. :)

It's finally back up!
One of the things that still continues to impress me about Newegg is their customer service. On the other forum that I mentioned in my earlier post, the webmaster of Newegg actually created an account and posted in their "Is Newegg down?" thread explaining that it was down and they were working hard to get it back up.
Newegg is awesome!
