I was wondering if anyone knows of an approx release date for windows longhorn

2006 from what I heard.

seems too far away. i was hoping for 2005

Actually,.. whatever it is that I read recently not only said 2006,.. but also went on to say something about possibly not even until 2009. So basically don't get too excited for it yet. :D
