Seriously... I'd check for trojans, you may be the victim of a practical joke.

Back to basics, Check your system theme in advanced. Ifsomeone else has used your computer they could have set those sounds to events.
Start/Search *.wav then look where the appropriate sound file resides for an ideas to which program is causing the problem.
