Bloody Canadians !

Usually mine & other Brits 'mickey taking' is reserved for the 'stuuuupoid yankee doodlies' & they in turn pick on the Canadians - however time for an exception ! ;)

I shall proceed straight to go, & pick on 'em directly ! :eek2:

I mean we sell you a second hand, only slightly used submarine, as them 'mean' yankees won't & YOU BREAK IT - :rolleyes: ... :grin:

They are btw generally meant to sail about under the water, not on it , especially in a storm :p

duuu ,,,the first 3 subs , were "mothballed" at vickers shipyard in barrow in furness , for many years ,,,they were a local joke ,,,the british goverment did not want them ,,,and they were costing a lot to "tick over" in dock ,,,,we eventualy GAVE them to the canadians ,,for a token fee,,,,with no warrenty applied, or expressed.


my father lives in barrow ,,,about 80m away ,,,i visit him ,,,and read the local papers etc,,,

vickers , who mfg this sub ,are owned by BAE systems (those of the bent slush fund history) ,, BAE used to own "british leyland" ,,,now after looking at a mini metro ,,,and having driven a BL meistro , van ,,,,

1999 : engine failure ,,,,crew had to use h/pumps to rise to the surface

2000 : major failure on torpedo tubes ,,,

2001 : the full claas of subs inc this one , taken out of service ,,,,

hey they all can't be good, you got eye candy in shania twain, and comedic genius from mike myers and jim carey as well as many many other great performers which i'm too tired to drum up from the recesses of my memory.

you misunderstand, i'm fully aware of the toying nature of the posts. Hence me posting this useless crap. if i ws being serious i'd be the loudest voice crying for celine dion's head. brian adams problem is that all his songs are exactly the same (a car, a cliff, and a woman). Avril's not bad it's her groupie lemmings which annoy me, and no i have no excuse for KD Lang.
