Ok so who wants to talk about anything that doesn't involve the recent bannings?

Boobies thread I think has been started, so lets continue this thread with thoughts for the weekend...

What y'all doing? :thumbs2: I am hopefully picking up my new Gibson Les Paul Standard in Root Beer finish, although so far I've heard nothing from the music shop..... :sad:

Saturday, beer will flow when watching England v Wales in football (soccer to those across the pond), Sunday, well no plans as yet.

Oh almost forgot, and hiring Kill Bill 2 on DVD for tonite

Good to hear you picked the one you wanted instead of settling for the other one. I'm heading to Danville, Virginia for the AMA Superbike and Supermotard racing :thumbs2: Last rounds of the Superbike season and most likely Mat Mladdin will take the championship for the 5th time and their may be some Ducati Cup riders there. A whole wekkend of racing, can't wait to watch it live and in person.

thanks :thumbs: after seeing them close up, the root beer really does bring out the grain of the wood really well, then I had a choice of necks to choose from! :rolleyes: whats a boy to do? I went for the 50's neck as the tone sounded better on it.

Nothing like a new guitar, especially when it is yours! That should give you much joy. What are you running it through?

edit: By that I mean, what kind of amp and effects, if any?

Friday:

• Youth group tonight
• Watch TV with wife or watch wife play CoH

Saturday:

• Buy new shoes
• Clean living room carpet
• Play CoH

Sunday

• Church in AM
• Lunch followed by strong possibility of short nap
• Play CoH or watch somebody else do so (kids, wife)
• Continue conversation about 2nd gaming PC and additional CoH subscription for multiple family members to play at once (long term project)

Monday:

• Getting up late, like 7AM. Maybe 8.
• Enjoy the heck out of Thanksgiving (Canadian style)

Use a Digitech RP200 for the effects (my own presets), into a Marshall AVT100, sometimes I bypass the pedal and just use the OD2 setting which I call reveille or the neighbour wake-up call :thumbs2: I also use the RP200 sometimes as a pre-effects for the amp, getting 'double' distortion, but my fave is pre-effecting a Wah Cry-baby then distorting through the amp. Gets some real high-pitched squeals on the pinched harmonics that way.

Yeah I can't wait to get my hands on it.....

For me it is laundry, ironing, writing 2000 words compare Access to Oracle (ummm :eek2: )
and studying for my Cisco Trainers qualification.

Take up drinking.

Saturday:
Take up Heroin

Sunday:
Buy 12 gallons of gasoline and a box of matches.

Friday- drink and watch movies (some reason I want to watch Kelly's Heroes)
Saturday- Take kids to soccer, drive to place up north, drink
Sunday- Pick apples, watch football, drink
Monday- (Columbus Day) drive home
