If you bought one that came in a tiny package, the drivers must be downloaded from the site listed on the packaging.
I am having a difficult time finding this device. Where did you purchase it?Quote:

it's strange but it seems not having a brand.
i plugged into another pc running xp and it works fine.
and in the description there's just written "standard". no brand info.
?!?
aren't there standard drivers for this items?
Yes there are standard drivers, but standard what.
Many pen drive manufacturers use different ways of accessing their memory. Still Googling.
Install the device go throught the install process. When Windows indicates it can't find the driver. hit ok and then look in device manager and confirm that it has an exclamation infront of it.
Are you comfortable with using the registry.
Open regedit, and search for usb.
The device should be listed under ENUM.
If I can get the vendor id I may still be able to help you find the manufacturer.

This driver is fairly generic Windows 98 usb mass storage device.

i bring those files in my notebook. then i plug the pen drive and clik on new hardware?
sorry for these questions!
i tried with those drivers...but nothing happened!
what 's wrong??
Did you actually check the packaging as mentioned earlier?
Theres nearly always a site listed somewhere on the box to download drivers for Win98 on any of these pen drives etc.
WinXP, 2000 and ME will load their own drivers, but 98 needs the pens own drivers from the manufacturers website installing to work.
