Problem with uploaded pages to web server
I haven't been on these forums for quite awhile but remember that this is the place to go when I have a problem I can't solve. I recently built a simple web site with Front Page 2002 and uploaded via Ipswitch WS FTP Pro (Evaluation copy downloaded a few days ago). Soon after uploading the pages I needed to make corrections and revisions. I went to Front Page changed the pages, sent to the server. I can view them from the FTP program and see that the new pages are there. However, when I hit the pages via the internet, the old pages are still there. I have tried hitting the refresh button dozen of times, deleting the old pages from the server and uploading the new pages, made sure all the links were accurate and working in Front Page......and still can only see the old pages. The guy who manages the server says it appears that the original pages are being cached on a server between him and me but he doesn't know how to solve the problem. It doesn't matter what computer I go to.....I still only see the original pages I uploaded. No doubt, this is probably just a setting somewhere I'm overlooking but I am puzzled. The server I'm uploading to is Windows 2000 server, doesn't have Front Page extensions.....any suggestions.
