Anyone know this song?

This is not a competition, just a request for help! This song I really used to like around 1986/87, I recorded it off the radio and the tape snapped and I never heard it again. For some reason that I can't fathom it's just jumped into my head, and I can't get it out.

It starts like

"out of the darkness, and into the light. Only you."

then a bit more lyrics, then chorus leads up with

"smile, in your eyes.....
My lonely heart is empty,
though they'll try to tempt me,
no-one can take the place of you"

I think the band was called Tigers of Pangtang or something... I'm off to do a google search, but if anyone knows it PLEASE help me!!!

If anyone can let me know why this song is now in my head after not hearing it for 17 years, I'd appreciate that!

I tried a google search. Was it Love Shine by the band Yes?

Found that same one too.
