One screen name locks, one does not (AOL)

Weird one.. got a call, have not looked at the computer yet, but customer has Aol and when they go to a chat room with one screen name, it freezes his whole computer, when loggin in with all other screen names on the system (same windows username, same chatroom) it is fine.
Aol has no idea (big surprise) and i have seen other people complain about this, but the general consensus is to not use the screen name anymore.

Has anyone run into this, or have any idea how this is happening?

Not sure what version of aol i am assuming 9, and it is windows xp home.

i will said delated that profile and recreated the same proflie or delated the aol software and reinstalled
