Hmmm, sensing a concept here.
What IF you could cool a CPU on both sides of the die?
bet that was easy to clean off
Just as a general question is that an MSI board ?
Thats cool
had it on the top spread with a butter knife but thats a first
does any of it work?
it almost looks like a chaintech motherboardQuote:

Must be a French user. Who else would put mayonaise on their chips?
Does them crappy Intels take that much ?? :sad:Quote:

& Check any thermal readings in bios immediately upon applying power, bearing in mind that most pastes take about a week or so of constant on to completely bond, so starting temps should drop off slightly after that much operation (up to 4-5 c after 'complete thermal bond')
It's usually recommended to spread the thermal paste evenly over the top of the CPU with a credit card or a business card.
Yeah but I got sick of all my credit cards getting refused in shops as they had 'strange stuff' on 'em & might have been tampered with ! :( :eek2: so I didn't put that bit in ;) - generally it spreads out just fine on its own as long as the paste is in the centre - sometimes spreading it out can be counter productive if the die has any slant whatsoever, its supposed to spread on its own - btw those pictures are lifted direct from some intel install guide I happened to have open for something else hereQuote:
