What the heck is this guy using to record his desktop activity? I would like to do this to. It looks like some kind of plug-in for WMP? PLEASE HELP!! I want to do this.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I still wish I knew what the guy from that video used. It appears to be some kind of WMP plug-in or something. Notice the length of the video, the high res and the small file size. I want to do that. I must! :D

I have used windows media encoder to do this dead easy!

I got to the video from slashdot.org. He is demonstrating how quickly and easily you can get spyware from a fresh XP install with no patches and no nothing. It's kinda funny to just sit there and watch it. Might be a bit dull,.. but you can actually see the process without having to foul up your own machine.

I don't get any sound from that, so it was hard to figure out.

I've already seen this happen, to me, in real life, too many times already. :p

Usually when I perform a fresh install of Xp I just plop all my data onto another hard drive while i'm formatting and installing,but last time I thought I should just go ahead an burn off a fresh backup of all my data,
when it was burning I kept geting messages telling me,"file "$ollar" attached to folder will be lost keep burning?" I looked up the file,turns out a majority of my data had spyware attached :eek:,meaning every time I pulled the data off my extra hard drive into my fresh install of Xp I was instantly reinfecting it. :knife:
