I have a 3 yr. old grand niece who is absolutely adorable. Her mom (my niece) got her this Dora the Explorer Talking Doll House for Christmas. I agreed to buy the Dora furniture for the house (hellsbells I'd never heard of Dora much less what she explores). Do any of y'all realize that some of these things just can't be found???!!! I rekkin I'll have to turn this chore over to the queen of ebay aka Mrs. Major Kong to bail my ignert, uninformed arse out.

Jeez folks I gotta get out more, at least my wife knew what Dora is, but she had no idea the popularity!

I'm sorry you had to get caught up in the middle of all this Major. This is clearly a chick thing, and none of us saw it coming.

I never heard of Dora the Explorer or Kim Possible or the Fairly Odd Parents untill I started dating a woman with a daughter. Now they're everyday phrases.

As the parent of a 4 year old girl (plus 8 and 10 year old girls), I am fully aware of Dora. We have the full inventory of Dora dolls, books and computer games. Take some relief that Dora is far less obnoxious than most children's programming and actually teaches them something.

My 5 year old and my 22 month old both love Dora. We have so many Dora toys plus more wrapped up for Xmas it ain't funny.

we are a blue's clues family ourselves. I can't stand dora because it's the same thing every episode. it's all repetition. Blue's clues does different lessons every show . . . . but we much prefer steve to joe (joe's an idiot)

Sorry...but my son is 9 and way past that stuff....we were however a Blue's Clue's family too...that and Pooh....:thumbs: Now we are onto Pokemon and Yugi-o.

My goddaughter is all into Dora as well
