I followed this story yesterday with bizarre amazement.
One Charged With Killing Mom, Taking Baby
A baby girl that had been cut out of her mother's womb was found after a frantic search, and authorities arrested the woman they say strangled the mother and stole the child.

That is unbelievable! I can't believe I never heard this before.
that's just sick.
Happened here in Ohio four years ago. Only that time the woman shot herself to death as the police were coming to question her.
They have some people in custody for this latest crime. It's too bad you can only kill someone once.
A lifetime of torture should be the sentence.
I just cannot fathom how one human being could do that to another.
Thank god they found the baby. The woman who did this should be shot. What a inhumane act.
Beyond comprehension...I am glad that they found the baby, hopefully that is some consolation to the father and will help him through this.
I was absolutely sickened when I read about this.

She killed someone with extreme violence & in an ultimate act of jealousy. This is a case where I'd say a death penalty is appropriate, in Canada our last execution by hanging was in 1962. (and has never been used since)
Firing squad or hanging. No blindfold.
But I'd settle to lock her up and throw away the key. This means NO POSSIBILITY of parole. EVER.
Imagine what the father must be going through.
How the f*** did she get her family to believe she had "gone into labor
and given birth"....who did they think delivered the baby? If my pregnant wife leaves for a few hours and then comes back holding a baby and telling me she just gave birth:eek2:. I think I'd be a bit surprised :eek:
I'd bet the husband played a role in all this
I just don't know what to say other than despicable.
Actually, I wonder if it was her family that turned her in. They issued an amber alert (For confus-ed: http://www.expertlaw.com/library/pub...er_alerts.html ) late, simply because there was zero description of the child, and they’d never issued an alert in this way before. It was within a few hours of the alert that they were called by several people that lead to the arrest. Which leads me to believe someone close to her turned her in.Quote:
