That was a tough choice between the red rider bb gun and the tree burning down. I had to go with A Christmas Story. I also liked Bad Santa.
A Christmas Story was great! You'll Shoot your eye out kid! https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif BUT the greatest Christmas movie of all time. Well there is only one choice:
DIE HARD https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gifhttps://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif
Although "It's a Wonderful Life" certainly is in the top 5 too. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2007/09/1.gif
I enjoyed christmas story, but I have to give the nod to christmas vacation.
"merry christmas.......sh1tter was full" https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif
Christmas Story is great, but how the hell can you not include It's a Wonderful Life on this list?
Die Hard 2 is a good Christmas one too.....https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gifQuote:

Toss up between Wonderful Life and Christmas Carol - the one with Patrick Stewart.
Gotta go with Christmas Vacation.

Wasn't "March of the Wooden Soldiers" also a Christmas movie?
I have always favored newer generation movies. Often, there is still plenty of story and "message", but soo much more realistic and entertaining in my op/-ed. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif
Last night, just before we retired for a "Long Winter's Nap", I was channel surfing, and found the animated version of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", with the Dr.Seuss type animation, and narration by Boris Karloff.
Absolutely priceless!
On another channel, they had three and a half hours of a log burning in a fireplace. I bet they had astronomical production costs for that one, eh?
-"Miracle on 34th Street" the original black & white version with Natalie Wood
-"Scrooged" with Bill Murray
-"Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol" with Jim Backus
-"How the Gringe Stole Christmas" with Boris Karloff narrating
-"A Christmas Story" (the BB gun movie)
-"It's a Wonderful Life" with James Stewart
-"White Christmas" with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye
And, of course, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" with Linus quoting Scripture and Scroeder playing those great tunes on the piano. Talk about bringing back childhood memories.
