I forgot how to paste at the command prompt in XP. Anyone know?
in a cmd window, I just right click and select paste?
if that's what you're looking for.
Go to the top left hand corner of the window Right Click and select edit and paste.
My bad on this. I should have mentioned I need to do it with the keyboard.
Anyone?
like to make it a challenge huh techs ;)
Ctrl + c = cut
Ctrl + v = paste
FYI:
Ctrl + V in command prompt just shows ^V
Right-click in the title bar of a cmd window, select properties, in the options the check box QuickEdit Mode, close properties and select save properties for future windows with same title.
Then afterwards you can simply place the cursor over the word you want to copy, double-left click copies it, then double right-click pastes it.
Hope this helps.
emr
he dont want mouse involved, afaik
Whoops! Must read posts properly in future. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2007/09/1.gifQuote:
