windows setup problem
ok so u im trying to update my windows xp to the sp2 and i get the whole config up till the end and at the end the computer just restarts for no reason and it just keeps restarting over and over again i dont get ne error msgs does ne one kno how to fix this ive been w/o my comp for like 4 days and im hurtin ne help would be awsome

They very same thing happened to me... They only way I fixed it was to boot in safe mode and un-install SP2.
That worked for awhile but in the long run I ended up reformatting. To this day I have not tried to install SP2.

i cant go into safe mode ive pressed f8 and tried all the options they gave me and it still restarted the only time it didnt was when i picked the "dont restert on system failier" and that jus showed a blue screen that said i prob had a virus and i should restert my comp again

Looks to me like you had TV Media installed - not a virus but a highly undesireable piece of spyware!!
If present on an XP machine, the install of SP2 results in constant reboots...
M$ even take this so seriously that they've released a removal patch

Unfortunately all you can do now is uninstall SP2, then remove TV Media, then re-install SP2.

im tryin that guid u gave me but when it come to the part where i type in
cd $NtServicePackUninstall$\Spuninst
batch spuninst.txt
exit
it says that it cannot find that file i am suppost to somehow put that one prog one there b4 i go through that guide? bc i dont kno how i would do that
