On the notion of running a repair to fix a corrupted swap file - err wouldn't it be much easier to just delete the pagefile ;)? A repair option is effectively a re-install anyway, so it might sort out our system files 'for a bit' (probably what it did here) but if you've not got rid of the original infection, you may find yourself going around & around.
