Form Mailer suggestion

I was using CGIWare's form mailer (http://www.cgiware.com/aspmailer.shtml) for the form on my company's web site however today we just got spammed though the mailer, so it looks like I need another form mailer as this appears to be some kind of bot, or I need to fix this one. Unfortunately programming in anything besides HTML is not my strong point, I can work around some code figuring things about, but I don't have a deep enough understanding of the language to fix this problem :sad:

According to that link it doesn't run on 2k or 2k3, so you have this on an NT box?

Why do you think this mailer is some sort of spam bot?

It was stored on our ISP, I though they had 2000 servers, but who knows, and we are switching anyways so I need a more up to date on.
I don't think the mailer is a spam bot, but it got attacked by one. I found a little bit of information on google (google the bcc address)

ok so you have no access to the source code anyway. What did you have in mind to do?

I do have access to the code, but if no one knows how to fix it to prevent the spaming, then I may just want to go with a new form

use the standard thing...you know where you have to put in a code that is represented in a graphic that cannot be read by a bot...that way the code has to match before the submit happens

Can you tell me where to find the code to do that? Or what its really called so I can do a search for it.

I would really like some other way of doing it if anyone else has other ideas, my customers that use the form are not the brightest... we are lucky they can find the on switch on their PCs.

hmm found a simpler way... look at the solutions paragraphs this is something that you can easily do within your existing script.
