Can't Access the Net. No RACM or Telephony
Hi,
I will start off by saying that I am positive my computer is really badly infected. Without HiJack.exe, I wouldn't be able to shut down between 5 - 15 executables in my task manager that are labelled ~15tmp.exe, ~24tmp.exe csjadleaz.exe, alkjsdes.exe, etc. I do not currently run any sort of Anti-Virus software, just things like Spybot, Adaware, Microsft Antispyware, and so forth. I am trying to access the net to be able to figure out what I am infected with.
I am now unable to access the internet or e-mail through Outlook Express. I run a DSL connection throught my Ethernet card. The LAN connection is enabled and working.
The obvious solution to fixing my internet problem is to enable a bunch of stopped services including the Remote Access Connection Manager, the Remote Access Auto Connection Manager, Telephony, and so forth. The problem is that anytime are try to [Start] any services that aren't started I get error messages including things like "this service is dependent on another process" and "unable to start" and "this service has not run since last boot" and so forth. Once again, I can't start any of the critical services.
Did I accidently erase something? Do I need registry changes? Is there a specific worm or virus that needs to be removed? (It's not Esbot or Gaobot)
Please don't tell me that I need a clean install! (If you have to, you have to.)
THANK YOU in advance.
