Plextor 716A & Acronis True Image

I sure would appreciate learning what media works from any of you who run Plextor 716A & Acronis True Image.

Sorry, I do use True Image, but not a Plextor.

There is that better now ? :eek2: :thumbs2: :devil: ? My experience is that its very fussy about media quality indeed ..& one of the reasons why I'm no fan ;) - that was version 6 or so when I went off it, though, so maybe its improved ?

It could be that both are fussy. On one of my systems I am running a Plextor Premium CD-R CDRW with Acronis 8 and after many trials found that Taiyo Yuden 52X silver/light blue media work just fine. But that media does not work with my new machine that has the Plextor 716A. I finally was able to get Plextor tech support to commit the the fact that Maxell 48X CD-R should work (write). Will post back after I get a chance to try it. What a pain, I'm half inclined to swap out the 716A for another Premium.:rolleyes:
