Is it possible to remove that silly links folder from IE's favourites?
Just right click it & delete it .. gone ! ;)
Until you restart Internet Explorer again that is. You need a registry hack to remove it completely...Quote:

Set the String value of "LinksFolderName" to equal a blank string. Open IE and delete the Links folder from the Favorites menu. The next time you start Internet Explorer the Links folder will not be recreated
Awwww well then, there's a good point :thumbs2: .. but when I tried it, it turns out that it only reappears if you do a re-tard ..Quote:

..If you attempt to move, delete, or rename the Links folder on the Favorites menu in Internet Explorer, it is automatically re-created the next time you start your computer.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the Links folder is a special Internet Explorer folder that cannot be moved, deleted, or renamed.
RESOLUTION
Although the Links folder cannot be deleted, the properties of the Links folder can be set to Hidden so that the folder is no longer displayed when you open the Favorites.
I did the registry thing, it worked, thanks.
