MP3 players
OK, the wife and I have been working out now for a while, and she wants an MP3 player, but don't want to spend much on one. I want something fairly inexpensive, doesn't need to hold a whole lot (prolly 256MB would be fine) as she only would use it when she's at the gym. Only requirements I have is I want it to support drag and drop for transferring the MP3's, no crappy software like iTunes.
Here's what I was looking at, the first one has the FM radio as well, but the 2nd one is a 512MB which would give a lot more space for $10 less:
256MB
512MB
Anybody have any other suggestions/idears ?? Main thing here is I want to go cheap for now. H3ll, I would even buy used if I could find a cheapy that somebody wanted to get rid of.

I haven't used the MuVo but seen good reviews. Unless you'd really benefit from the radio, I'd think get the extra capacity & lower price. Might get used for something else too sometimes - moving some pictures around etc?
Also, car players are appearing with USB, if there's room for a few of your favourite albums, it'll become more common to just plug into the car too.

Creative rocks. I have several of them in various sizes and no complaints. Unless you really want or need the radio, skip it and get the added capacity.

Just a suggestion, 3FS, but the local Target here has Sony cd-mp3 players for $25 on closeout, and they also play the new atrac as well as the mp3s and regular cds. Only bad part is they are a little more sensitive to bouncing around than regular mp3 players.
