Did you check all you volume levels? Check the individual ones like "wave", "line in", "CD", etc..
Are the speakers plugged in all the way and turned up? Are they powered speakers and working? Did you try other speakers?
If you have an upscale sound system you will have more than one port for sound output, such as 5.1, 7.1 etc. I would try other outlets with the sound on volume level 3 or so and hopefully through trial and error find the correct one.
Hmmm Ive tried turning them all up and yes i have tried other speakers but the sound is still real low
i really hate it when my sound does not wonk.
only kidding, i often find the wave bar in volume control is set low, after an update etc.. do you have a sound effect manager (or similiar)?
Haha sux aye yea its all turnd up ane in my effects amnager theres nt much in there this is what it is called ac97 audio XD
Maybe its my drivers? what do u think?
Was your sound working correctly before? If so did you load any software, updates, etc. just before the problem started? If not, did you build the system yourself?
Yea it is a re-build my old mother board broke so i got this 1 and i brought it off someone and they didnt have any drivers for it so i installed the one that was supposed to go with it but its not very good, the sound is quiet, there is sound but not much of it.
