Where can I find laptop schematics?

I've been trying to find a schematic for my Toshiba Satellite M40 but the only sites I've seen so far that have schematics charge for them, besides they don't have my model listed. I was hoping I'd be able to find a pdf of this info for free somewhere.

Public library. There is a section devoted to all things electronic. Can't remember the name of the books, section. Been alot of years!!:) The librarian could point to it.
