toshiba laptop
Have a toshiba satillite pro laptop. It will not go past windows 95 splash screen. When used boot disk, noticed that evertime press the "c" key, it outputs "9o" instead. What could be causing this-motherboard? Keyboard? and would it cause laptop to not boot??

maybe motherboard. put the first recovery disk in, power off the machine then start it up while holding the "c" key. this should start the reimaging process. if its still fubar take it to the nearest toshiba authorized service center.
