I am building some reference VMs, and I just killed my Windows 95b (4.0.950b) VM by following an update/patch path that was posted on the Web. The recommended kernal update killed the installation.
:knife:
No matter -- it takes all of 15 minutes or so to build the basic VM.
I used have all this stuffed documented and had all the necessary files at hand, but it has been so long since I have had to use any of it.
Does anyone know of a safe update/patch guide for 4.0.950b?
MS is not much help with this, although to their credit they do still keep most of the necessary patches available -- it's just difficult to determine which ones are appropriate.
