soundblaster 5.1, cdcreator, dma, plextor

all the latest drivers updates etc.

my problem started when i installed the soundblaster. after boot up i received a blue screen error cdralvsd. I found this to be related to the cdcreator. this caused the cd-rw not to be reconized. after much research i found the file cdvsd.vxd to be a possible cause so i renamed it and rebooted no blue screen but also no cdcreator. after further research i found that if I unchecked the dma box in the cd-rw properties and reinstalled the cdcreator every thing worked fine. except that i no longer have dma performance. does anyone have a possible fix for this?
