Has Microsft released any updates for XP that would cause Network computers not to appear in My Network window? This has just started happening at the home network, and there has'nt been an issue till lately?

Has Microsft released any updates for XP that would cause Network computers not to appear in My Network window? This has just started happening at the home network, and there has'nt been an issue till lately?
Not that I am aware... however ZA did this to my neighbour's computer out of the blue... it rezoned the local network as internet and bam, no more network printing or copying. Had to manually add the ip range and set as trusted.

If I right click My Network Places and choose to search for computer, I type the name in and it pops right up. But when I click on view network computers, nothing shows up? I have both Win2K as well as WinXP Home and Pro in the network. Are all issued Ip's from a Linksys Router. This problem exists from all compters regardless of OS. I have AVG Free installed on most computers. I have other networks with simular OS's and AVG that does not have this problem. Any chance it is the Router??
If you can get to it, but network places it doesn't show up, it may be a master browser problem. What do the event viewers have to say?
No help with event viewer. Why would all the computers on the network have the same problem? Win2K WinXP Home and Pro, Windows Home Server.Quote:

All the computers are on the same Workgroup, and all the computers have the file and printer exception configured with Windows firewall.
