What is the difference between these motherboards?

do you know of any other motherboard from a different manufacuturer matches the spec of the UD4H?

Its a very very nice motherboard.

Your question was 'would this motherboard take that cpu?' - obviously, if they are talking about overclocking that cpu on that motherboard, it will.

and also aGA-MA790X-UD4P

i was getting confused with the two sorry...

so the MA790X-UD4P should take my DDR II 1066 no problem right?

I am a little confused though

I am decinded between the UD4P and the UD4H,

The UD4P supports 1333 DDR II over 1200, so I am right in saying this is a newer board?

Also I read somehwere that the DS4H is a better board than the UD4H as the Heatsinks and the board are copper ones,

I thought they both had copper ones?

You are at the nit-picking stage I was at a few years back building my first.

You should print out the specs for each board (use comparison pages if the same manufacturer) and then search some sites that builders frequent.

I cannot decide for you.

Actually, the differences in real-world performance between the two different memory speeds is virtually insignificant. If you don't want on-board video, don't get it. Both boards have some growing room, but this is just a motherboard selection; not a marriage. In 3 years you're going to want to can the whole rig anyway, and that's OK.
